Rep. Wittman named to leadership post

Rep. Rob Wittman (R-Montross) has been named Vice Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives. In making the announcement, Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Ala.), ranking Republican on the committee, spoke of Wittman’s “profound commitment to our service members” and the expectation that his Virginia colleague “will be a fierce advocate to properly fund our military, modernize our forces, and counter threats from our adversaries.”
