Remarkable Futures Scholarships

The Gloucester Chick-fil-A restaurant awarded seven scholarships to its employees on April 22 as part of the company’s Remarkable Futures Scholarship program. Franchise operator John Gordon said the scholarships are given to exemplary employees looking to pursue higher education who maintain at least a C average. He said the scholarships are awarded to individuals with various amounts starting at $1,000. Those who are chosen to receive a scholarship and for what amount are determined by an outside group who reviews submissions. Shown here are, from left, owner John Gordon, Josh Wathen, Hannah Waltz, Brianna Martin, Nick Freeman, Lacy Booth, Nicole Dunmire and CEO Taylor Sabo. Justin Strazdins, who also received a scholarship, was not in attendance.
