Rejoice on the River series continues Sunday

The Rejoice on the River Concert Series continues this Sunday, July 18, with a free concert beginning at 6 p.m. at Williams Wharf Landing in Mathews.

Shades of Country band will again headline the program, with featured performances by local artists Richard Callis and Pastor Marcus Stallworth.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with food available for purchase, provided by The Seafood Shack, Positive Pizza, and Short Lane Ice Cream.

Bring a chair, bring family, bring friends,” said organizer Jill Hammond. “All are welcome.”

The final concert in the series will be held on Sunday, Aug. 15, with Shades of Country, the Kellum Family Singers, and Craig White. The concert begins at 6 p.m.; gates open at 5:30 p.m.
