The Mathews County Little League will register players for its fall baseball and softball seasons on two consecutive Saturdays, Aug. 14 and 21, from 9 a.m. to noon each day at the Little League complex.
Fall ball will primarily focus on skill development for players ages 9-14. Players moving up from last spring’s coach/pitch division to the minor divisions next spring are encouraged to participate in the fall ball season.
The cost to play for the fall season is $40 ($45 if registered after Aug. 21). The league will start forming teams on Aug. 22 to allow teams to practice for two weeks before games start on Sept. 12. Games will be played through October, concluding with the fourth annual Fall Classic tournament.
