Registration underway for Christmas and Holiday Parade

The holidays will be here before you know it, and Gloucester’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism is already making plans for this year’s Christmas and Holiday Parade.

Registration is open for the annual parade, which took a year off in 2020 due to COVID-19. This year’s parade will be held on Gloucester’s Main Street on Saturday, Dec. 4, starting at 3 p.m.

The registration fees are $20 for businesses and $10 for nonprofits. Schools and county government entries are free. The deadline to register is Nov. 14 or when the parade reaches 60 entries. Visit to register.

HALLOWEEN BINGO: Gloucester PRT will also be celebrating Halloween with Halloween Bingo for ages 9-11 from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31 at the PRT office. The fee is $10 per child and the deadline to register is Oct. 24.
