Regional tourism workshop to be held March 29

The second in a series of four “Vibrant Communities Through Tourism” workshops for tourism venues on the Middle Peninsula will be held on Thursday, March 29, in Essex County.

The workshop will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Beale Annex Conference Room, 202 South Church Lane, Tappahannock. This workshop will focus on “Messaging: Curating Tourism Initiatives and Entrepreneurial Development Outcomes.”

The workshops are being offered by the Middle Peninsula Alliance, in partnership with the Virginia Tourism Corporation. They are designed to provide hands-on strategies to embrace community initiatives with technical assistance to leaders of smaller tourism venues on the Middle Peninsula (arts studios, museums, history venues, festivals), a release stated.
