The King and Queen Department of Social Services and the Job Assistance Center are sponsoring a Job Fair and a Community Resources Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, at the Job Assistance Center, 1399 Centerville Road in Shacklefords.

Event organizers are recruiting employers from around the region with positions to fill at their businesses and organizations. The Three Rivers Health District will be administering COVID-19 vaccinations, there will be free hot dogs for everyone, and the King and Queen Sheriff’s Office will be giving out free Child ID kits.

Job seekers searching for a career in the medical field, law enforcement, manufacturing, construction, education and other professions will have plenty of options to apply for employment. Prospective employees will be asked to complete applications and meet with employers for on-site interviews. “Dress for success and bring your resume,” a release stated.
