Coast Guard helicopter pilot Lt. Garrett Hendrickson, a 2011 graduate of Gloucester High School, is one of many Coast Guard personnel helping the people of Florida recover from the devastation of Hurricane Ian. Stationed at USCG Air Station Clearwater in Clearwater, Florida, he took part in relief efforts after an earthquake struck Haiti in August 2021, conducting numerous medical evacuation missions.
