POTATO SALAD

“One of our most popular dishes especially when catering.”

10 lb. potatoes, cut to desired size, and cooked until “chew done.”

Add:

Chopped celery
Chopped onion
Chopped green pepper (optional)
Mayonnaise
Just a squirt of mustard
Sweet relish
½ c. sugar
Salt and pepper

Mix all ingredients and refrigerate until ready to serve. MACARONI AND CHEESE

Her daughter’s favorite dish.

Make a roux of flour, butter, milk and cheese, using Provolone, American, Cheddar and Parmesan cheeses. Cook noodles and mix with roux.

FRIED CABBAGE

Shredded cabbage
Shredded carrots
Onion powder
Garlic powder

Put ingredients in a fry pan with olive oil. Sprinkle top with 1 tsp. bouillon. Fry.

FRIED CHICKEN

Soak chicken in salted water, drain and clean. Mix with some flour, salt, garlic powder, pepper, Lawry’s seasoning, just a little salt and House of Autry chicken breading. Cover each chicken piece with mixture and fry.
