Cream thoroughly 1 c. butter. Add:

½ c. sugar

2 c. flour

2 c. finely chopped pecans

1 tsp. vanilla

2 tsp. water

Mix well. Shape into bite-sized balls (they’re messy to eat and do enlarge slightly when cooking), roll in confectioner’s sugar and place 1 inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 35 minutes at 300°F. (They will be slightly browned.) Cool and re-roll in confectioner’s sugar. Store in a cool dry place.



1 large can of beans, drained

1 Vidalia onion, finely chopped

1 green pepper, finely chopped

1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled

Sauté the onion and pepper in a small amount of bacon grease until tender. Add to beans and half the bacon. Add:

½ c. Kraft Regular BBQ Sauce

½ c. Kraft Hickory Smoked BBQ Sauce

¾ c. brown sugar

4 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce

1 Tbs. fresh garlic, minced

2 Tbs. yellow mustard
