An opening reception for “Trash to Treasure,” an exhibit of artwork that incorporates all sorts of ‘trash’ into creative works of art, will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 28, at the Bay School Community Arts Center in Mathews.
“‘Trash’ such as beach treasures, vintage objects, and even boots that were chewed up by a dog became the works of art,” said a press release.
Fifteen artists have entered their work in Trash to Treasure, including paintings, jewelry and accessories, fiber, and 3-D art, said the release.
The reception will include drinks, finger food, art, and the artists.
