Rebecca Jane Bishop of Hampton, formerly of Gloucester, departed this life on July 31, 2025. She was a Christian, so she did not really die, she just changed her address. She was born on April 30, 1950 in Hinton, West Virginia, the 10th of 12 children. She was well loved by her friends and family, and will be remembered for her sweet and gentle soul.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Everet and Blanche Wyant Mann; her brothers, Jimmy, Charlie, Jerry; sister, Judy and one son, Gary Bishop Jr. She is survived by one son, Richard Bishop; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Jenny, Linda, Nancy and Bonnie; brothers, Jack, Tommy and Johnny, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Fly high in the heavens our dear sister, until we see you again.
