Rebecca Cooke Asbell, 86, of Gloucester, died Nov. 12, 2011.

Mrs. Asbell was a member of Wilroy Baptist Church and the Woman’s Missionary Union.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph M. Asbell Sr.

Survivors include three sons, George R. Asbell, Norwood T. Asbell Sr., Ralph M. Asbell Jr.; a daughter, Rebecca A. Thomas; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date.
