RCC to offer seminar on investing strategies

Rappahannock Community College’s Rappahannock Institute for Lifelong Learning will hold a seminar, titled “Investing for Income in a COVID World” on Thursday, Sept. 24 from 11 a.m. until noon.

This seminar, led by Clayton James who is a registered financial advisor and managing director at Jamestowne Investments, LLC, will be held virtually through Zoom.

This seminar will discuss the impact the Federal Reserve and interest rates have on investing for income, opportunities and warning signals in the bond market, how to utilize the stock market and invest for dividend income and alternative investment options and the search for yield.

Advance registration and payment of $15 is required to take this course.
