RCC to hold virtual commencement ceremony

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, Rappahannock Community College will hold its spring 2020 commencement ceremony electronically on Friday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m. The virtual ceremony will recognize all RCC students and celebrate their achievements.

During the virtual ceremony, students will hear from RCC president Dr. Shannon L. Kennedy and a special presentation of the National Anthem by RCC nursing instructor Rebecca White. An RCC graduate will provide the commencement address.

The virtual commencement ceremony will be available on RCC’s website at rappahannock.edu/rcc-commencement-2020. Graduates will receive an electronic invitation via their college email account. The invitation will have details on how to access the ceremony and it can be forwarded to family and friends. Graduates will also be asked to provide a photo of themselves to be incorporated into the ceremony.
