Rappahannock Community College has announced that Tara Walker has been named Vice President of Finance and Administrative Services.

Walker holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Norfolk State University and an MBA from the College of William and Mary. She has worked in a variety of roles over her career and has extensive accounting experience. Walker was most recently with the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority.

She has also worked with Norfolk Collegiate School and spent more than 20 years with the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission. Her experience includes work with procurement, grants and contracts, human resources, IT and facilities management.
