RCC initiative encourages students to vote

Rappahannock Community College’s newest campaign, Voices of This Election (V.O.T.E.), encourages students to vote. The movement is led by a task force educating students on voter registration.

RCC will host informational sessions leading up to Election Day to offer students guidance on voter registration:

—RCC Voter Information Session with Guest Speaker Lorrie Gump, the King George Registrar, which will be held on Sept. 15 at 3 p.m. via Zoom,

—RCC will host Zoom sessions throughout National Voter Registration Day on Sept. 22 to explain how to register online, and

—RCC Information Session on Voter Suppression with Guest Speaker Samantha Cain, Richmond County NAACP Chapter President, which will be held on Oct. 6 at 3 p.m.
