Raymond M. Legg Jr., 71, of Summersville, West Virginia, formerly of Gloucester, Va., passed away on December 8, 2025 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. Ray was predeceased by his parents, Raymond Legg Sr. and Doris Anderson Legg and sister, Elizabeth “Libby” Lewis, all of Ashland, Kentucky. He is survived by sons, Jeremiah (Katey) of Gloucester, Joseph (Sarah) of Williamsburg, and Joshua (Casey) of Carrollton, Va., and four grandchildren, Taryn, Landon, Tolson, and Van. He is also survived by his brother, Pat Legg; sister, Becky Wilson; his former wife, Debbie Legg, and a large extended family.

Ray was a carpenter by trade and an avid golfer and fisherman at heart. He will be sorely missed by his family and many friends in West Virginia, Kentucky and Virginia.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
