A lifelong resident of Gloucester County, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and son went to heaven on November 21, 2025. R.B. was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Timberlake; father, Byrd Haynes; brother, Billy Haynes; sister, Cheryl Arnold, and stepson, Jonathan Hogge. He is survived by his wife, Donna Haynes; son, Lee Haynes (wife Krystal); daughter, Diana Holt (husband Travis); son, Raymond Haynes; stepson, Chris Hogge (wife Nicole); sister, Debbie Haynes; stepsister, Mary Kay Sellars (husband Taylor); grandchildren, Bret Clarke, Bryce Clarke, Carsyn Haynes, Henley Holt, Everley Holt, Zachary Hogge (wife Alexis), Julian Hogge; great-grandchildren, Opal Hogge and Gabriel Hogge. R.B. will be remembered by many for his charming smile. The family would like to invite friends and loved ones to join them on January 11, 2026 at 2 p.m. for a “Birthday of Remembrance for R.B.” at Piankatank Ruritan Club, 7138 Buckley Hall Road, Cobbs Creek, Va.
