Racing returns Saturday at VMS

After several rainouts, Virginia Motor Speedway will return to racing Saturday to host Truckin’ Thunder Championship Night and Week 11 ofDirt Series Championship action.

The track will crown champions in all four of the speedway’s Dirt Series Championship divisions—Victory Lap Pro Late Models, Truckin’ Thunder Sportsman, Budweiser Modified and Collision One Limited Stock Cars.

Competitor gates will open at 3 p.m. Saturday, with spectator gates opening at 5. On-track activities begin at 6 with hot laps.

Admission price is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (60 and over), $8 for military (retired/active-duty with proper ID) and $6 for students (ages 11-17). Children (ages 10 and under) are admitted free with a paying adult. Pit passes are $25.
