Gloucester County Animal Control will hold a rabies vaccine clinic—for dogs only—from 1-3 p.m. Saturday in the Gloucester High School parking lot.
Visitors will be able to drive up to the tent and have their dogs vaccinated for $10. “This makes the vaccine much more affordable for our folks, and having vaccinated pets keeps our community safe,” said Steve Baranek, Gloucester’s Chief Animal Control Officer. “We’re happy to be able to offer this service to our residents.”
All dogs must be secured on a leash, and it is requested that aggressive dogs be muzzled to keep other animals and people safe. Also, all rabies vaccines will default to a one-year expiration (three-year rabies vaccines will be available with the proof of a prior rabies vaccine).
