A funeral for R. Phillip Lowney, 78, of Gloucester, was held at 2 p.m. Monday at Windsor Gardens Cemetery, Dutton. He died Feb. 4, 2016.

He was a retired logger. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jane Lowney.

Survivors include his sons, Jerry Michael Lowney and David Phillip Lowney; adopted daughter, Theresa Elliott; a grandson, and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Gospel Lighthouse Worship Center, Shacklefords, Va.

Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory, Gloucester, was in charge of arrangements.
