Quilters and the quilt guilds of the Middle Peninsula will gather Friday and Saturday in the colonial court circle to display their quilts as part of The Quilts of River Country Show.
The show, which is held every other year, will display for visitors a wide variety of quilts, quilting techniques, fabrics and patterns. Guild members will also offer visitors demonstrations, a Quilts of Valor display, and quilt shop vendors will be on hand.
The show will be open Friday from noon until 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is $2 for adults; youth 12 and under can enter for free. The event is sponsored by the River Country Quilters and the Gloucester Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism.
