Mathews High School junior Hunter Owens is only the fifth student in the history of the Marching Blue Devils to qualify for All-VA Band. On Saturday, Owens traveled to James Madison University to audition, placing first in Virginia on Contra-Alto Clarinet. He will travel to Richmond on April 16-18 to rehearse and perform with the All-VA Symphonic Band....
