Doug Paredes won the Put-In Creek Duathlon on Saturday, which involves a three-mile run from Put-In Creek Park to Williams Wharf, and a 2.5-mile kayak race from the wharf back to the park. He was one of five participants, who included, from left in order of finish, Paredes, Tracey Tunstall, Elizabeth Whitaker, Amanda Hall and Dave White. The annual Labor Day race is sponsored by Virginia Tidewater Trailrunners.
