Puller Park rededication to be held June 25

A rededication of Puller Park in Saluda will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, at the Middlesex County Museum. The park’s namesake, United States Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Burwell “Chesty” Puller, served in World War II and the Korean War before retiring to live in Saluda in 1955. The program is being held by the Marine Corps League, Middle Peninsula Detachment 1317 and in partnership with members of the Puller family, the Middlesex Museum and Historical Society....
