Public’s help sought for Angel Tree program

Bill Hudgins Automotive is seeking the public’s help in making the holidays a little brighter for local children in foster care.

The Gloucester dealership is once again serving as a drop-off location for the Angel Tree program, collecting gifts and money for foster children up to age 18 through the Social Services departments of Gloucester, Mathews, Middlesex, King and Queen and King William counties.

Those who wish to help can pick up an angel from the Angel Tree and purchase all or a selected amount of items listed on the card. Monetary contributions, gift cards to department stores, as well as gift wrap and gift bags are also needed.

If selected, monetary donations can be made by a check, payable to Gloucester County Department of Social Services, noting “foster care” in the memo section, with receipts available upon request. The deadline to drop off an item for the Angel Tree program is Dec. 9.
