Public hearing tonight on Tyndall development

The Gloucester County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the T.C. Walker Education Center auditorium at 6:30 tonight, Thursday, June 5, on a rezoning request that would permit the development of 34 condominium units on Tyndall Drive in Gloucester Point to create Marsh Hawk Villas.
The applicant, Jeff Ambrose of Cadlerock IV, LLC, has submitted an application requesting rezoning of nearly four acres of vacant land located between the intersections of Tyndall Drive and Camp Okee Drive on Route 17.
Ambrose would like 3.13 acres of the property to be rezoned from general business (B-1) to multi-family residential (MF-1) and the other 0.69 acre to single-family detached residential (SF-1).
The property is vacant and undeveloped and is surrounded by residential properties along Tyndall Drive and Camp Okee Drive, as well as Grubbs Garage Auto Repair Shop.
