Public given opportunity to question school board members

The Gloucester County School Board will give residents an opportunity to question its members regarding fiscal year 2013 budget proposals prior to the scheduled public hearing on its fiscal plan at 7 p.m. next Wednesday, Feb. 29, in the T.C. Walker Elementary School auditorium.

The special session will be held from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. in the Walker auditorium. Residents will have the opportunity to address two questions to school division superintendent Ben Kiser or board members, according to board clerk Diane Gamache.

The budget public hearing will begin at 7 p.m. and Ga-
mache said there will be a time limit for remarks. The board and the superintendent will not respond to questions or comments during the public hearing.
