Providing a safety ramp for a Gloucester family in need

The Gloucester Housing Partnership and Horsley Home Improvement and Repair spent the morning of Saturday, July 24, constructing a safety ramp onto a home in Hayes.

Gloucester Housing Partnership, or GHP is a nonprofit organization that focuses on housing repair for Gloucester residents in need.
GHP chairman Bob Tschirhart said ramps are typically what his organization has been building these days. He said GHP has consistently had around three projects to do each month.
“The homeowner desperately needs this ramp so he can access his home safely which meets the GHP mission of assisting the low-income citizens of Gloucester County,” said Tschirhart, “with basic home repair in order to keep them safe, warm, accessible and dry.”
