Promoting tourism

Gloucester County staff had an opportunity to show the county’s best points to tourism specialists from across the state, as the county hosted the 2015 Virginia Tourism Corporation’s annual Fall FAM Tour last Wednesday and Thursday. The guests, who included the managers and assistant managers of the 11 Virginia Interstate Welcome Centers and other members of the Virginia Tourism Corporation, visited an array of sites including the court circle, the Virginia Institute of Marine Science oyster hatchery, Rosewell, Walter Reed’s Birthplace, and others.
