Project Comfort & Joy enters ninth year

Peninsula Heating & Air at White Marsh began accepting applications Tuesday for its Project Comfort & Joy program. This is the ninth year of Project Comfort & Joy, where one resident is chosen to win a free heating and air system. This year’s winner will be announced on Dec. 16.

To participate in the program, residents may either nominate themselves or someone they feel is deserving of a new unit, according to PHA sales coordinator Faye Gibson. When filling out the contest application, a short description will be necessary to explain why the individual is being nominated.

“The contest is not entirely needs-based,” Gibson said. “It typically is, but you could certainly nominate someone who is very deserving of something extra because of the things they do to help their community or their own families.”
