Peasley Middle School students were successful competitors in the 27th annual Future Problem Solving State Bowl in Powhatan April 13-14. Above, from left, Lila Saunders, Alex Hogge, Sophia Grover and Caroline Merchant took second place in the team competition and, not pictured, Charlotte Buswell won honorable mention, along with Grover. Fulton also won second in scenario performance and Victoria King (inset) took first place in scenario writing. Also, Gloucester High School student Elianna Tirado took second place in scenario writing in the senior division. The first- and second-place winners will attend the FPS International Competition June 7-10 at University of Wisconsin at La Crosse.
