The Piankatank River Ladies’ Golf Association played a stroke play/net competition on Thursday, April 23 at the course in Hartfield. Winners were:

First flight—Nina Carter (first place, 74), Nancy Pannell (second place, 74) and Julie Whitaker (third place, 76). Second flight—Kim Harris (first place, 70), Mary Francisco (second place, 72) and Debbie Fifer (third place, 75). Third flight—Chong Hudgins (first place, 65), Mary Dorman (second place, 67) and Kay Lloyd (third place, 71).

Criss Cross

Members of the Piankatank River Ladies’ Golf Association played a fun game of Criss Cross on April 16 at the Hartfield course. Winners were:

First flight—Nina Carter (first place, 31), Kay Stout (second place, 36) and Vicky Gunn (third place, 38). Second flight—Chrystal Welch (first place, 40), Christi Lewis (second place, 40) and Chong Hudgins (third place, 42). Third flight—Kay Lloyd (first place, 41), Lynne Richardson (second place, 44) and Ann Stanley (third place, 47).
