Winners in the Piankatank River Ladies’ Golf Association’s Aug. 14 competition (Individual Stroke Play, gross) at the Hartfield course were:

First flight—Kay Stout (first place, 79), Martha Wiggs (second place, 82) and Nina Carter (third place, 83). Second flight—Ellen McGowan (first place, 93), Chrystal Welch (second place, 96) and Debbie Fifer (third place, 98). Third flight—Chong Hudgins (first place, 95), Roseanne Moncure (second place, 102) and Ann Stanley (third place, 104).
