On Thursday Oct. 27, the Piankatank River Ladies Golf Association concluded its season with a Captain’s Choice format competition.

Placing first was the foursome of Martha Wiggs, Chong Hudgins, Chrystal Welch and Bobbie Stuck with a score of 68. Gina Custis, Christi Lewis, Jo Turek and Betty Johnson placed second with a 72. Also scoring a 72, but placing third were Nina Carter, Christy Pitts, June Klink and Kayce Turner.
