The Piankatank River Ladies’ Golf Association held its annual Christmas and Holiday Luncheon on Dec. 7 at the Piankatank River Golf Course, Hartfield.

After the luncheon a business meeting was held and included election of the 2024 officers. Officers are president Christy Pitts, vice president Lynne Richardson, treasurer Kay Lloyd and secretary Mary Francisco.

In addition, winners of the 2023 PRLGA Two-Lady Team Match Play were announced. Twelve, two-player teams competed in two flights. Roseanne Moncure coordinated the match play competition and presented awards to the following winners:

First flight, first place: Christy Pitts (Deltaville) and Vicky Gunn (Cobbs Creek) with 10.5 points.

First flight, second place: Gail Thomasson (Montpelier) and April Damper (Chester) with 8.5 points.

Second flight, first place: Christi Lewis (Cobbs Creek) and Chong Hudgins (Cobbs Creek) with 11 points.
