Winners of the Piankatank River Ladies Golf Association’s July 15 play day (Even Holes Less ½ Handicap) at the Hartfield course were:

First flight—Chong Hudgins (first place, 41), Nina Carter (second place, 42) and Gloria Matthews (third place, 42).

Second flight—Christi Lewis (first place, 33), Lisa Livery (second place, 42) and Marny Richardson (third place, 45).

The following Thursday, July 22, the Piankatank River Ladies Golf Association held an Individual Stroke Play Net contest at the Hartfield course. Winners that day were:

First flight—Martha Wiggs (first place, 70), Christy Pitts (second place, 70) and Vicky Gunn (third place, 72).

Second flight—Bobby Stuck (first place, 72), Janice Phillips (second place, 73) and Sue Silberhorn (third place, 74).

Third flight—Marny Richardson (first place, 70), Carol Sennott (second place, 76) and Kay Lloyd (third place, 77).
