The members of American Legion Auxiliary Gloucester Unit 75 and Girl Scout Troop # 1018 worked together to pack shoeboxes with personal hygiene items and make cards and ornaments for the veterans at Walter Reed Convalescent Center, Sanders Assisted Living, and Gloucester House. The Girl Scouts also provided some of the items to put in the shoeboxes and made ornaments and cards at their meeting to take to the veterans. Auxiliary members taking part included, from left, Alberta Fortin, Cheryl Knape, Nanette Adams, and at far right, Carolyn Vasta.
