Poster contest winners

Louisa Goodrich and August Goodrich, two homeschool students from Middlesex County, hold their winning posters for the Tidewater Soil and Water Conservation District’s annual poster contest. This year’s theme was “Where would we ‘bee’ without pollinators.” They both received a $25 gift certificate for winning in their age group and their posters went on to be judged in the state competition. Posters for next year’s contests are currently being accepted with the new year’s theme—“Healthy Forests, Healthy Communities.” Contact Sam Markwith at the Tidewater Soil and Water Conservation District (smarkwith@tidewaterswcd.org) for more information.
