The Virginia Peninsula Area Team for Operation Christmas Child invites the public to Craft-A-Palooza 2024, which will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, at Gloucester Point Baptist Church, 7741 Terrapin Cove Road.

“We invite you to join us as we gather for this local event where we’ll share easy-to-make craft projects and ideas for your coming packing season,” a release stated. Everyone is invited, all supplies are included and there is no charge.

“You make crafts and take them home for use in your shoeboxes,” the release stated. “This event has a special focus on inviting your neighbors, coworkers and friends from prospective churches not yet packing shoeboxes. Feel free to invite anyone who might be interested. Let’s gather and praise Him for all the ways He is using simple shoebox gifts to share the gospel and change lives and communities worldwide.”
