The Nook, the Gloucester Main Street bookstore and gift shop, held Poetry Night Saturday evening to celebrate National Poetry Month. Included were readings from local poets Ryan Babarsky, Loralee Clark, Luz Schweig and M.P. Slaughter, from their recently-published books. Attendees then had provided the opportunity to read their own original poems. Shown above is Schweig reading from her book, “The Half That Runs,” which debuted last month.
