The Plein Air Unleashed, an outdoor painting event hosted by Allure Art of White Stone, returns the week of April 29 to May 4. This is the event’s ninth year.

The event is one of the largest gatherings of plein air painters in the state each year, said a release, and it allows the public to watch up close as award-winning artists paint on various locations across Middlesex County. The event is free to attend and participate.

Visitors may see and purchase the paintings created during the week at the preview reception at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 3, at the Deltaville Community Association building, 17147 General Puller Highway, Deltaville. Good Luck Cellars will have staff at the reception offering wines for sale by the glass and bottle, while the Pull Up food truck will serve food.

The exhibit continues on Saturday, May 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with an artist meet-and-greet and demonstrations at the same site.
