Play tickets go on sale Saturday

Tickets for the Court House Players’ dinner theater production of “The Day They Kidnapped the Pope” will be available for purchase in all CHP outlets this Saturday, Feb. 25.

The driver, Sam Leibowitz, kidnaps him and takes him to his Brooklyn home where he holds the Pope for a special ransom—a day of world peace.

The show will be performed March 23-26 at the Piankatank Ruritan Club on Buckley Hall Road at Hudgins.

Dinner will be served at performances Thursday through Saturday beginning at 6:30 p.m., followed by the show at 8 o’clock. The dinner show cost is $30. Sunday will be a show-only matinee at 3 p.m. for $15 at the door. Advance Sunday tickets are $14 for adults and $5 for students.
