Gloucester Ruritan Club members bagged 286.2 pounds of plastic bags since Aug. 31. Members Paul and Barbara Bauer, assisted by Ruritan Zone 4 Governor Don Sandridge (not pictured), delivered the bags to Food Lion to be recycled for the purchase of park benches for the county in coordination with the Gloucester Lions Club. They met their goal to purchase a park bench to be located at Buck Rowe’s Store Museum and are working on another bench.
