Planning office now fully staffed with Rizzio on the job

The Gloucester County Department of Planning and Zoning is at full staff for the first time in several years, director Anne Ducey-Ortiz said March 23.

Ducey-Ortiz said that Carol Rizzio joined her staff March 1 as a senior planner. Other staff members include planners Tripp Little and Sean McNash, administrative assistant Laura Lutinski, assistant zoning administrator Denise Canada and zoning specialist Linda Sprague.

The planner position had been frozen, and Ducey-Ortiz said she thanked the Gloucester Board of Supervisors for realizing the need to employ an additional planner. “I am real excited” to have somebody with Rizzio’s background join the staff, she said.

Rizzio will be in charge of reviewing and helping update the county’s zoning and subdivision ordinances, Ducey-Ortiz said. In addition, Rizzio will assist with some applications coming to the planning and zoning office.
