Planners to make capital recommendations tonight

The Gloucester Planning Commission will make its recommendations about the county’s FY2019-23 Capital Improvement Plan during a meeting at 7 o’clock tonight in the colonial courthouse.

The commission received reports about various capital improvement projects requested by a number of county department heads during a work session in mid-October and at its regular early November meeting.

County Administrator Brent Fedors said a special grading formula is being used to gather input on the CIP requests from department heads. After input from a focus group, the commission and the supervisors, some of the capital improvement requests will be included in the next fiscal budget, Fedors said.
