Planners to hold hearing tonight on rezoning application

The Gloucester County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on a rezoning application at its virtual meeting tonight which will begin at 7 o’clock.

The applicant, The Bobby June LLC (Dr. Robert and June Klink), is requesting to rezone TM 25-8R, located on the south side of Meredith Drive (SR 1019) and east of the Riverside Walter Reed Hospital complex, from B-1 (Business) to B-2 (Village Business) in order to convert the existing structure into a single-family dwelling.

The property is 1.85 acres in size and the building is currently vacant, but it was previously used as a medical office building. The goal of the project is to perform interior renovations to convert the building into a single-family dwelling with a possible detached garage.
