Planners to consider expansion of Fiddler’s Green development

The Gloucester County Planning Commission will hear a request for a proffer amendment at its September meeting, as the developer of Fiddler’s Green is seeking to increase capacity in that development. The proposal would increase the development from 88 single-family lots to 139.

The parcel of land, 133.45 acres at the intersection of Fiddler’s Green Road and Route 17 near Gloucester Court House, is already zoned Single Family (SF-1) and approved for the original 88 lots. All other proffers pertaining to this development would remain unchanged from the original plan.

The land currently sits cleared and vacant and, if approved, this new master plan is intended to serve as the Preliminary Subdivision Plan.
