Pizza Hut opened its newest Gloucester store May 10 at Fox Mill Centre near the Court House area. A grand opening was held Tuesday.
This is the second Pizza Hut in the county, the other located on Route 17 at Gloucester Point. Unlike that restaurant, the new store offers take out and delivery only, with no space for dine-in customers.
Pizza Hut area general manager Brett Cahoon said the store offers a full Pizza Hut menu, except there is no salad bar. Among the store’s popular items are a selection of pizzas, baked pasta dishes, and made-to-order wings that are hand tossed in eight sauces. Soft drinks and dessert items are also sold.
“The new Gloucester Pizza Hut has a fresh, modern and more compact design,” Cahoon said.
Sandy Spencer of Gloucester is manager of the new store. She heads a staff of more than 20 full- and part-time employees.
Spencer has worked for Pizza Hut for a number of years, most recently at a Pizza Hut restaurant in West Point.
